Health and Safety

The safety of our community (the Ninja Nation) is our number one priority. We believe that risk-taking and problem-solving help promote development and growth and that the Ninja Arena provides those opportunities but we also believe that all our guests and staff should go home healthy and happy each day.

We undertake the following best practices to protect our community -

Health and Safety Management - Ninja Valley employs an Operations Manager, whose primary role is to develop, implement and monitor our Health, Safety and Hygiene policies to ensure an ongoing clean, safe and healthy environment for all guests and employees.

Maintenance and Inspections - daily, weekly, monthly and annual inspections and checks are undertaken to ensure the optimal operability of our equipment and operations. Spot checks are conducted by Crew during operations.

Safety Training - all Ninja Crew are trained in the safe operation of each activity, especially harnessing and all activities at height.

First Aid training - at least 50% of our staff are first aid trained by MediTrain or other reputed suppliers.

Child Safeguarding - all Ninja Crew members undergo a police vetting process and must receive a full clean police clearance on the commencement of employment, and every 3 years, as required by the Vulnerable Children Act 2014. Crew are trained in best practices relating to child safeguarding.

Hygiene - we live in a different world these days, where attention to hygiene has been elevated in order to protect our community. We undertake regular cleaning and hygiene measures throughout each day via hourly, daily, weekly and monthly schedules. We follow all the current government requirements and advice to provide peace of mind to our guests.

Reporting and Reviewing - all health and safety incidents are reported to Work Safe NZ and registered by Crew Members and reviewed regularly by management with a view of constant improvement.

FAQs

What ages is Ninja Valley suitable for?

Anyone aged 1 and above will find something or many things to challenge and excite themselves with. There is no upper age limit.

Do you host parties?

Oh yes, we love parties and would love to host yours. Click here for more information.

Do you sell Gift Cards?

Yes we do sell digital gift cards on our website or at the counter. Please click here to purchase.

Is there parking?

Yes, we have 40+ car parks and 12+ bicycle parks at the front of the building on the roadside and a whole heap of additional car parks down the side of the building.

During the weekends, you will also find additional free street parking on Norton Road and Old Mill Street plus paid parking at Fraser Tech Rugby Club ($1/hour or $4/full day)

Please be considerate when parking around our wonderful neighbourhood.

Is outside food allowed?

If you hire a party room, you may bring your own food and drinks to be consumed in the party room (or ask us to cater). We also have a cafe upstairs with excellent range of drinks and food. We do allow dry snacks/fruit and drinks to be brought in, usually for kids. We do not allow birthday cakes or cooked/hot/commercial food to be brought in or for "informal parties" with food and drink to be hosted, without a party room

Do we need to book? Are 'walk-in's allowed?

We do accept walk ins as long as we have available capacity. We always recommend making a booking to avoid disappointment. You can check our available capacity and/or make a booking on our website.

Do spectators need to buy a ticket?

No, spectators do not need a ticket but they can only go as far as the trampolines and not up onto the raised trampoline area. There is seating in the middle of the arena.
