Fun, Food and Whañau | Variety Charity Event at Ninja Valley
Ninja Valley hosts a huge Christmas event for families associated with Variety - The Children's Charity with three hours of play and 1,000 BBQ'd sausages

Hey everyone,

On Sunday 3rd December we hosted our first ever Fun, Food and Whañau event in partnership with Variety - the Children's Charity.

Over the course of three hours, we entertained and fed 500+ guests who enjoyed the opportunity to play as a family in The Ultimate Playground, followed by unlimited splash action on the Giant Ninja Water Slide.

Meanwhile, Ninja T rustled up 1,000 sausages on the Sentinel Homes BBQ which warmed the cockles in the miserable, rainy weather. Huge thanks to Sentinel Homes for the last minute loan of their cool BBQ.

The sausages, in part, were paid for by using the kind Food Drive donations that guests have been making via our online and counter bookings. We thank every single one of the Ninja Nation that donated anywhere between $1-$20. You are very kind!

We will continue to collect donations via our checkout and will pass 100% onwards to Variety in the new year.

I would like to make a special shout out to the Ninja Crew that made the event such a success, many staying on for a few extra hours to man the slide in the rain and entertain the little ninjas in the Ninja Arena.

A Variety spokesperson shared the following comments, "We would like to thank you for hosting our Variety children and families in the Waikato over the weekend at Ninja Valley.  The exclusive event gave our families an opportunity to spend time together and attend an event most families are unable to do.  We have had some great feedback from our families about how they were taken care of during their session times.  One parent said ‘this is the only event we can attend together we are so grateful’.

We appreciate the support you and your team showed throughout the day, with the event running smoothly. There were plenty smiles and special moments the families had on the day. "

I know this also means a lot to our young crew who take pride in our community contribution.

Thanks for the support from the Ninja Nation
