Ninja Moon Challenge Raises $7,000 for KidsCan
24 hour bounce-a-thon keeps us up all night for great causes

They came through the night. They bounced, they smiled, they puffed and they helped us to raise $7,000 for one of KidsCan - Aotearoa New Zealand’s hardest working children’s charity.

From 5pm on Friday 20th to 5pm Saturday 21st January 2023, Ninja Valley stayed open through the night for the Ninja Jumped Over the Moon Challenge, so that those who wanted to, could come and jump for free with a gold coin donation.

A fundraising page was also created and guests also kindly added small donations through the online checkout process.

We’d like to show our massive appreciation for the members of our Ninja Nation that kindly made donations and supported the event. KidsCan is a great charity, supporting children living in poverty through the power of education as a ticket out of poverty. A number of the schools that visit Ninja Valley are KidsCan recipients, so it’s great to be able to return their support via KidsCan.

We are also proud and appreciative of our own Ninja Crew who volunteered to work through the night of the event. We couldn’t have done it without them.

A final big shout out to our friends at Velocity Entertainment in Hastings who joined the campaign, also bouncing through the night and raising an additional $800 from their community.

We may not have jumped the moon or raised $1M but we did have fun, we did get active and we did raise much needed funds for KidsCan. We’ll be back with another attempt in the future, so that moon had better watch out.
