Ninja Valley – The Ultimate Playground in the heart of Hamilton - is proud to announce its partnership with the Waikato Rugby Union by sponsoring the Ninja Valley Player of the Day awards for the Waikato Junior Rugby 2023 season. The partnership will cover every team, every week of the season, with team coaches presenting the awards to the deserving players.

Grant Beuzeval, the co-founder of Ninja Valley, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, saying, "It's a great way for us to give back to the community and to recognise the participation and effort of the boys and girls who are playing rugby in a team environment. Rugby is a sport that strives for inclusivity amongst the region's boys and girls, and we're thrilled to be a part of it."

The Ninja Valley Player of the Day awards will consist of a $20 Ninja Valley gift card, which can be used to cover admission into the 10,000 cubic metre Ninja Arena which consists of two ninja courses, 65 trampolines, climbing towers, high ropes course, 6 different slides, dodgeball, zipline, wipeout and much more. The awards will be presented to players who exhibit exceptional performance, leadership, and teamwork during each game.

The partnership will see gift cards awarded to the Player of the Day recipients throughout the season, providing an exciting incentive for young rugby players to excel on the field. It's an opportunity for Ninja Valley to connect with the community and support a sport that holds a special place in Beuzeval's heart.

Beuzeval remembers playing junior rugby in the 70s, where he ran around in bare feet on grass covered in frost and sheep poo. Despite the less than ideal conditions, he recalls it as one of the “best of times”.

"Sucking on an orange at halftime and running around with your mates was the best of times," he reckoned.

Ninja Valley's partnership with  Waikato Junior Rugby is just one of the many ways that young company is giving back to the community. With its commitment to fun, adventure, and community, Ninja Valley is proving to be the ultimate playground for both locals and visitors alike.

Ninja Valley wishes all teams and all players a fun and enjoyable season as well as a big shout out to all the coaches and parents/caregivers who make sport possible for the kids of the Waikato. Good luck!
