Ninja Valley wins 'People and Culture' Award at the Waikato Business Awards
"Ninja Valley has been an instant Waikato success story, based on a strategic approach to People and Culture that has created a sense of ownership and engagement from the workforce"

Oh what a night at the Waikato Chamber of Commerce Business Awards Gala Dinner on Friday 17th November.

In the esteemed company of some of the Waikato's most amazing companies and people, we managed to snag the hotly contested People and Culture Award.

We are extremely humbled and proud to win this award. Six months prior to opening in June 2022, we laid out our intent for the creation of our People-and-Purpose led culture that would help deliver the subsequent 250,000 hours (to date) of play, growth and togetherness but to also create a workplace that challenged, rewarded and socialised our diverse team.

We are so incredibly proud of our team and their development as, mostly, young people and the energy, contribution and vibe they have invested on an hourly, daily basis. Absolute legends.

We are very grateful for the work of the judges who volunteer their time and expertise to the awards They had this to say about Ninja Valley;

"Ninja Valley has been an instant Waikato success story, based on a strategic approach to People and Culture that has created a sense of ownership and engagement from a workforce that is typically transient. The Judges were particularly impressed with Ninja Valley’s careful engagement of its crew in defining the “Ninja Valley experience” and its genuine commitment to coaching and personal development. Ninja Valley aspires to be a force for good in the community and has found a recipe that enables it to be a force for good in the lives of its people.

In an awards category that was hotly contested by some inspirational Waikato businesses, Ninja Valley is a deserving winner of this year’s award for People and Culture."

We missed out on the Community Contribution Award that but will continue striving to deliver back to our community by fostering deep roots with all those around us.

To be a top thee finalist in two categories on our first attempt is a special achievement and inspires us to aim hire.

We would like to thank all our guests (the Ninja Nation), crew, supporters and to the Chamber for delivering such a fantastic and meaningful event and evening.

But, we're only just getting started. We look forward to continuing and evolving the Ninja Valley Experience for everybody. Let's play!
