Talent Galore at Kotiro Super 7s
All girls rugby tournament, sponsored by Ninja Valley, reveals the quality of talent at schools level

There was some quite brilliant rugby played at the Kotiro Super 7’s over the weekend - an all girls rugby and ripper-rugby tournament in the U13, U15 and U18 age groups.

As a proud sponsor we got the chance to meet some of the players and Ninja Valley co-founder Grant was on hand to make presentations to the teams.

The vibe was terrific, matching the on-field skill, speed and teamwork. There is an undeniable pool of talent amongst the girls coming through the schools and if the Black Ferns World Cup success can act as a catalyst to leverage momentum, then NZ rugby will be in good shape for generations to come.

Congratulations to Dean Herewini and Waikato Rugby for organising and delivering the tournament and for inviting Ninja Valley to play a small role in making it a success.

We look forward to the 2023 event and other similar tournaments and events that showcase our talented athletes.
